Final Gasp is a death rock and hardcore punk band from Boston, Massachusetts, that emerged in 2019. Featuring members from the hardcore acts Antagonize and Wound Man, the band quickly gained attention for their dark, atmospheric sound that blends the aggression of hardcore with the melodic gloom of early death rock and gothic metal. Their style is frequently compared to Samhain and Danzig, and they cite the legendary Milwaukee hardcore band Die Kreuzen as a significant influence. After releasing the EPs 'Baptism of Desire' (2019) and 'Haunting Whisper' (2021) on Triple B Records, they signed with Relapse Records to release their debut full-length 'Mourning Moon' in 2023. They followed this with 'New Day Symptoms' in early 2026, solidifying their place in the modern extreme music scene with a sound they describe as 'nocturnal adventurism.'
