About
Angel Dust was an underground heavy metal band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, active during the mid-1980s. Emerging during the first wave of American speed and thrash metal, the band was a part of the local Milwaukee metal scene that included contemporaries like Realm and Tyrant. They are primarily remembered for their 1984 self-titled demo tape, which featured tracks such as 'Into the Dark' and 'The Calling'. The band's lineup included vocalist Scott, guitarist Mike, bassist Bill Reuter, and drummer Rick. They disbanded shortly after their demo release and are distinct from both the German power metal band of the same name and the contemporary Baltimore hardcore band Angel Du$t.
