About
Acid Bath was an American sludge metal band from Houma, Louisiana, active from 1991 to 1997. They were known for blending doom metal with elements of hardcore punk, death metal, gothic rock, blues, and Southern rock. The band released two albums, 'When the Kite String Pops' in 1994 and 'Paegan Terrorism Tactics' in 1996, before disbanding following the death of bassist Audie Pitre in a traffic collision in January 1997.
