You're Pretty
About
Formed in Milwaukee in 1998, You're Pretty was a prominent fixture in the Wisconsin underground scene, known for their atmospheric and emotive brand of alternative rock often compared to nu-metal. The band was fronted by vocalist Beth Musolff, whose haunting delivery drew frequent comparisons to Tori Amos, backed by Steven Kern (guitar), Chris Stenger (bass), and Dave Keckeisen (drums). They were highly regarded for their intense live performances at legendary Milwaukee venues like The Globe East. Their discography includes a self-titled debut album (1998) and the critically acclaimed 'Beautiful Accident' (2001). The group officially disbanded in October 2002 following a farewell show in Ames, Iowa, though they reunited briefly in 2017 for a 'Globe East' tribute concert at Turner Hall.
