The God Eaters are a rock n roll trio from Marquette, MI, known for a sound that balances abrasive noise, heavy riffs, and pummeling rhythms with slower, harmonic, and dreamy soundscapes. The band consists of drummer Nick Erickson, guitarist/vocalist Dylan Trost, and bassist Devyn Trost. Their music is influenced by bands from the Touch and Go and Discord labels, as well as artists like Fela Kuti, Captain Beefheart, and John Coltrane, with lyrical themes often inspired by the local Marquette environment and personal experiences.
