About
Formed in 1993 in Austin, Texas, Spoon is one of the most critically acclaimed and consistent indie rock bands of the modern era. Led by singer/guitarist Britt Daniel and drummer Jim Eno, the band is celebrated for its minimalist, rhythm-driven sound and smart, angular songwriting. Over more than three decades, they have transitioned from underground darlings to mainstream indie staples with landmark albums like 'Girls Can Tell' (2001), 'Kill the Moonlight' (2002), 'Gimme Fiction' (2005), and 'Lucifer on the Sofa' (2022). The band maintains a robust presence in the Wisconsin music scene through frequent headlining performances at Milwaukee venues like the Riverside Theater and The Rave, as well as high-profile appearances at Summerfest and the Eaux Claires music festival.
