Shotgun Funeral is a queer three-piece alternative, emo, and punk band that emerged from the Chicago DIY scene in early 2022. Composed of Syd Sargis (vocals/bass), Belle Treece (vocals/guitar), and Collin Salajka Moore (vocals/guitar), the group has become a fixture in the Midwest underground circuit, including a very high profile in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin scene. Known for their high-energy, cathartic live performances and raw, emotive sound, they frequently bridge the gap between Chicago and Milwaukee DIY communities, playing iconic venues such as Milwaukee's Falcon Bowl and Last Rites. They released their debut EP 'Nicer' in July 2024 and followed it with the single 'Gore Orphanage' in 2025.
