Shadows Taller Than Souls is a Milwaukee-based trio that blends elements of hardcore punk, stoner doom, sludge, garage, and psychedelic music to create their unique "Doom Punk" sound. Formed in 2017, the band consists of Nick Stadler on vocals and guitar, Dan Schmidt on bass, and Joe Widen on drums. Their debut EP, "Doom Punk," was released in November 2021, followed by the single "Awakening" in November 2023. Their first full-length album, "Ouroboros," was released on December 19, 2025.
