About
Jarhead Fertilizer is a death metal and grindcore band hailing from Ocean City, Maryland. Formed in 2011, the group features a lineup with deep ties to the underground metal scene, including members Brandon Brown, David Bland, and Sam DiGristine, who are also known for their work in the band Full of Hell. Initially starting as a project rooted in fast-paced powerviolence and grindcore, the band's sound evolved into a heavier, groove-laden death metal style with their 2021 full-length debut 'Product of My Environment' and their 2023 follow-up 'Carceral Warfare'. Known for their punishing live sets and dark, socio-political imagery inspired by bands like Dystopia, they have become a prominent fixture in the Maryland death metal landscape.
