Goldfrapp

About

Goldfrapp is a multi-platinum selling English electronic music duo formed in London in 1999, consisting of vocalist Alison Goldfrapp and composer Will Gregory. The group is celebrated for its stylistic versatility, debuting with the cinematic trip-hop of 'Felt Mountain' (2000) before pivoting to glam-rock and synth-pop on hit albums like 'Black Cherry' (2003) and 'Supernature' (2005). Over seven studio albums, they earned multiple Grammy and Brit Award nominations and received the Ivor Novello Inspiration Award in 2021. The duo has been on an indefinite hiatus since 2022 while both members pursue solo projects.
