Ghostwoman
About
Ghostwoman (often stylized as Ghost Woman) is the musical project of Canadian multi-instrumentalist Evan Uschenko. Formed in 2016 in the rural landscape of Diamond City, Alberta, the project began as a solo outlet for Uschenko's home-recorded explorations of 60s-inspired psych, garage rock, and 'decaying Americana.' After years of touring as a sideman for acts like Michael Rault, Uschenko released the self-titled debut album 'Ghost Woman' in 2022. Since then, the project has evolved into a duo featuring Belgian drummer Ille van Dessel. The band is known for its hypnotic, fuzzed-out sound and prolific output, including albums like 'Anne, If' (2023), 'Hindsight is 50/50' (2023), and 'Welcome to the Civilized World' (2024).
