About
Formed in 1990, Gameface is a cornerstone of the melodic punk and early emo scenes. Fronted by Jeff Caudill, the band gained a devoted following for their ability to blend aggressive punk energy with power-pop hooks and deeply personal, emotional lyrics. They released a series of influential records on labels like Dr. Strange and Revelation Records, including 'Three to Get Ready' (1995) and 'Every Last Time' (1999). Although they hail from Southern California, Gameface has a long history in the Midwest underground scene, frequently touring through Wisconsin and being cited as a major influence on the development of the 'Midwest Emo' sound. After a hiatus beginning in 2003, the band reunited in 2013 and released 'Now Is What Matters Now' on Equal Vision Records.
