About
G-13 was an underground Milwaukee-based music project founded in the late 1990s by Paul McKinney, the former guitarist and vocalist for the prominent Milwaukee ska band The Invaders. After leaving The Invaders in 1997, McKinney established G-13 as a more eclectic outfit, blending rock, reggae, and ska with electronic elements. The act was a fixture in the local underground and festival circuit in the early 2000s, performing at venues like the Washington Park Bandshell and appearing on the 'Milwaukee Stage' at regional electronic festivals such as Blueshift and The Caveman Experience. Paul McKinney later went on to lead The Paul McKinney Group and perform with the 80s tribute band The Atari Age.
