Doormouse, the alias of Daniel Martin, is a pioneering figure in the breakcore genre. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he founded Addict Records in 1997 to explore experimental electronic music, later establishing Distort Records as a sublabel. After a hiatus to focus on family life and open a gym in 2008, he returned to music in the late 2010s, releasing several EPs and singles, including the 2025 single "Sacrificial Lam."
