Steven Kaye is a veteran of the Milwaukee electronic music scene and a central figure in the city's underground dance and rave culture. From the mid-1990s to the early 2000s, he owned Revolutions, Milwaukee's premiere vinyl and clothing shop, and was a founder and resident DJ at The Bassment, a legendary all-ages underground dance club. Kaye is perhaps best known for hosting the 'Late Night Beat Generation' on 91.7 WMSE from 1997 into the 2010s, a radio show that became a vital platform for showcasing both local talent and international DJs.
