About
Daft Punk was a world-renowned French electronic music duo formed in 1993 by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. They are icons of the French house movement, known for their elaborate robot personas and blending of house, disco, funk, and techno. The duo has a unique tie to Wisconsin, as their first-ever performance in the United States took place at the 'Even Furthur' rave in Blue River, Wisconsin, in 1996, an event organized by the Milwaukee-based electronic music collective Drop Bass Network.
