Belt One

About

Belt is the indie-rock project of Nashville-based songwriter and musician Tommy Creighton. Originally a fixture of the Milwaukee underground music scene—most notably as the leader of the electronic-rock band The New Loud—Creighton relocated to Nashville and formed Belt in 2021. The project is characterized by a blend of melodic synthesizers and candid, nostalgic storytelling, often framing personal moments and memories of old friends. The band is signed to the independent label Earth Libraries and maintains a strong connection to the Milwaukee scene, frequently performing at legendary underground venues like the Cactus Club.
