Drew Sutherland was a significant figure in the 1990s Milwaukee underground electronic music scene. He was a long-time staff member and music/art editor for Massive Magazine, the premier publication documenting the Midwest rave and electronic music culture from 1993 to 1999. Known in the scene as 'Drew #2' within the Massive staff, he was an active DJ who released mixed tapes featuring techno, house, and various funky styles. Sutherland was a core member of the 'Massive Posse,' a collective of artists and writers who traveled across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota to chronicle and promote the burgeoning regional electronic music movement during its formative years.
