About
Bellhead is a Chicago-based duo known for their distinctive 'no guitar' approach, utilizing two basses and a drum machine to create a dark, aggressive sound. The band consists of scene veterans Ivan Russia (vocals, high bass) and Karen Righeimer (vocals, low bass). Since forming in 2018, the duo has built a reputation in the underground post-punk and industrial circuits, releasing several EPs including 'Unicorn Bones' (2020) and 'Good Intentions' (2023). They are frequent performers in the Milwaukee underground scene, regularly appearing at venues like the Cactus Club.
