About
Yin Waster is a Chicago-based musical project formed by Griffin Mang and Gabe Huff. They describe their sound as "Gas Station Folk," blending groovy psychedelic riffs with pastoral tenderness. The duo began in Michigan in 2016, with Mang initially recording and releasing songs solo. After Huff joined, they recorded their first collaborative EP, "Old Long Since," in 2017. Since then, they've released multiple EPs, full-length albums, and music videos, including "Every Garden Needs a Dog" in 2025.
