THE RIES BROTHERS

About

The Ries Brothers are a musical duo from St. Petersburg, Florida, featuring brothers Charlie and Kevin Jordan Ries. They are recognized for their soulful fusion of rock, blues, funk, and reggae. The band's unique sound is anchored by Charlie Ries, who performs lead vocals while simultaneously playing drums and keyboard bass, while Kevin Jordan Ries provides guitar, harmonies, and additional instruments like the ukulele. After starting on the Florida bar circuit as teenagers, they gained national exposure touring with Chicago and G. Love & Special Sauce. They have since performed at major festivals such as Okeechobee and Cali Roots, and released projects including the album 'Paint Your Emotion' and a self-titled EP produced by Gary Clark Jr.
