About

The Heavy Heavy is a British retro-rock and psychedelic soul band founded in 2019 by co-founders Georgie Fuller and William Turner. Based in Brighton, UK, the group is known for a sound that revives the lush harmonies and fuzzed-out production of the 1960s and 70s, drawing comparisons to The Mamas & The Papas, Jefferson Airplane, and The Rolling Stones. They gained international recognition with their 2022 EP 'Life and Life Only,' featuring the AAA radio hit 'Miles and Miles.' In 2024, they released their debut full-length album, 'One of a Kind,' via ATO Records. The band has a significant connection to the US underground scene, notably recording their 'October Sessions' live at Lunde Records in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, during their 2024 tour.
