About
The Astronomers are an alternative pop duo from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, consisting of lead singer Michael Stensland and producer Ben Baker. Formed in 2019 while the pair were college students, they have become a staple of the Wisconsin music scene by blending electronic production with organic pop-rock elements. Operating independently from their home studio in Oshkosh, the duo gained significant regional momentum with their 2020 single 'Overthinking,' which reached #1 on local Top 40 radio. They have since released multiple projects including 'The Occasion' (2022) and 'Not Forever Anymore' (2024), and have toured extensively across the Midwest and United States.
