Supersuckers
About
Formed in 1988 in Tucson, Arizona, the Supersuckers are a high-energy rock band that blends hard rock, punk, and alternative country. Led by bassist and vocalist Eddie Spaghetti, the group originally performed as The Black Supersuckers before signing with Sub Pop in the early 1990s. Known for their 'cowpunk' style and self-proclamation as 'the greatest rock-n-roll band in the world,' they have released numerous albums including the country-influenced 'Must've Been High' and the hard-rocking 'La Mano Cornuda.' The band has a strong connection to the Milwaukee music scene, having performed at venues such as Shank Hall and the Cactus Club. Despite Eddie Spaghetti's 2015 throat cancer diagnosis, the band continues to record and tour, with their latest album 'Liquor, Women, Drugs & Killing' released in 2025.
