About
Straight Forward was a seminal vegan straight edge hardcore band from the Milwaukee suburbs, active during the mid-1990s. The group is most notable for its members who went on to significant success in the music industry, particularly drummer Andrew Hurley, who later joined Fall Out Boy. Other members included vocalist Kevin Herwig (of Get Rad and Since by Man), Damien Adams, Nolan Treolo, and Kevin Machesky. Their primary release was a well-regarded 8-song demo in 1996, which remains a staple of the Milwaukee hardcore archives. The band was a key part of the regional '90s straight edge scene before members transitioned into other influential projects like Racetraitor and Since by Man.
