About
Straight No Chaser is a professional American men's a cappella group originally formed in 1996 at Indiana University in Bloomington. The group first gained local notoriety as a student ensemble before a 1998 video of their comical rendition of 'The 12 Days of Christmas' went viral on YouTube in 2007. This massive online success led to a reunion of the founding members and a multi-album deal with Atlantic Records in 2008. Since then, they have become a global phenomenon, particularly known for their holiday-themed albums and innovative vocal covers of pop and rock classics. They have sold over three million albums worldwide and have collaborated with music legends like Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John.
