Something Is Waiting is a Chicago-based band formed by veterans of the Midwest metal scene. Fronted by Eddie Gobbo, known for his work with Jar'd Loose, the band also features guitarist Pete Grossman, co-owner of Bricktop Recording, drummer Idin Alexzander, and bassist Eddie Limperis. Their music is characterized by aggressive, paranoid compositions rooted in garage and '70s rock, blending elements of noise rock and hard rock. Their debut album, "The Something Is Waiting Band," was released in 2016, followed by "Songs For the Sally Beauty Pavilion" in 2019, "Absolutely" in 2023, and "LIVELICK" in 2025.
