About
School of Rock Shorewood is a cornerstone of the Milwaukee-area music education scene, operating with a performance-based philosophy that places students on real stages. Since its grand opening in 2013, the school has become a staple of the local music community. Its elite "House Band," composed of the school's most advanced young musicians, represents the institution at high-profile events throughout Wisconsin, including Summerfest, the Summer Soulstice Music Festival, and the Milwaukee Film Festival. By emphasizing live performance and collaboration, School of Rock Shorewood bridges the gap between music education and the active Milwaukee underground scene, with regular appearances at venues like the Cactus Club and The Rave.
