About

Sallyforth is a Twin Cities-based Alt-Americana quintet led by Hattie Peach (violin, vocals) and Emma Jeanne (rhythm guitar, vocals). The project originated in a Duluth college dorm room where the two began co-writing, blending Peach's folk storytelling with Jeanne's punk rock sensibilities. The band, which was formerly known as Yonder, includes Oliver Gerber on lead guitar, Dylan Hilliker on drums, and Daisy Forester on bass. Their sound, often described as 'basement rock,' fuses influences from the members' other local projects such as The Penny Peaches, Lapdogs, and Oister Boy. They gained significant local recognition as one of First Avenue's 'Best New Bands of 2025.'
