REVEL

About

The Last Revel is a prominent Americana trio with deep roots in the Upper Midwest underground and indie scenes. Formed in 2011, the band features multi-instrumentalists Ryan Acker, Lee Henke, and Vinnie Donatelle. They are known for a 'salt-of-the-earth' ethos and a sound that blends folk, old-time string band, and indie rock with three-part vocal harmonies. After a hiatus starting in 2019, the original trio reunited in 2021, releasing the album 'Dovetail' in 2023 and 'Gone for Good' in July 2025. They are a frequent fixture at Milwaukee venues like Vivarium, Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co., and Turner Hall Ballroom, and remain a staple of the regional festival circuit, including appearances at the Blue Ox Music Festival.
