About
Punishment is a Philadelphia-based hardcore and metalcore band that emerged in the early 2000s. Known for their street-wise credibility and DIY ethics, the band built a reputation through extensive U.S. touring and a high-energy live show. They released their sophomore album 'Broken But Not Dead' on Thorp Records, blending heavy metallic guitars with the speed and anger of New York Hardcore. The band featured members such as Joe Hardcore and survived numerous lineup changes throughout their active years, including having 'more drummers than Spinal Tap.'
