Poison Ruïn

About

Poison Ruïn is a Philadelphia-based band that emerged in 2020, initially conceived as a solo project by guitarist-vocalist Mac Kennedy. The project quickly expanded into a full band, incorporating elements of anarcho-punk, hardcore punk, black metal, and darkwave, all infused with a doomy, dungeon-crawler aesthetic. Their music is characterized by a raw, lo-fi sound that blends aggressive punk rhythms with atmospheric, medieval-inspired themes. In 2023, they released their sophomore album, 'Härvest,' under Relapse Records, further solidifying their unique position in the underground music scene.
