About
Parasites are an American pop-punk band formed in 1985 by guitarist and singer Dave Parasite and bassist Ron Nole in New Jersey. After relocating to Berkeley, California, Dave continued the band with local musicians, releasing records since 1987 and touring extensively in the US, Europe, and Japan. The band has had numerous lineup changes over the years, with notable members including drummers Dan Cofer and Scott Cofer, both formerly of the thrash-metal band Pillage Sunday.
