New Society of Anarchists (NSOA) is a hardcore punk and thrash metal trio from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, formed in the early 1990s by brothers Zakk and Arlo Z. They released their self-titled debut album in 1994, followed by 'Slam, Stomp, Mosh, Crush' in 1996, which earned them a spot on the Vans Warped Tour. Their music is characterized by unrelenting hardcore that harks back to a time when bands didn't have straight bangs and tight jeans, drawing comparisons to Madball, Sick of it All, Cro-Mags, and Agnostic Front.
