Mistrophia is a five-person indie rock ensemble from the Chicagoland area, originally formed by students at Columbia College Chicago. Formerly performing under the name Clean Break, the band rebranded as Mistrophia in early 2026. The group gained significant regional recognition after winning the 2026 Columbia College Chicago Battle of the Bands, earning a showcase at the iconic venue Reggie's. Their sound is an eclectic fusion of upbeat alternative rock, modern ska, and pop-punk, driven by the dual-lead vocals of Briyanna Manzanares and Katie Tegethoff. A rising name in the Midwest underground circuit, Mistrophia frequently collaborates with Wisconsin-based artists and performs across regional venues like the Cubby Bear and Beat Kitchen.
