Lyle’s Tree
About
Lyle’s Tree is an underground experimental music collective based in Appleton, Wisconsin, deeply integrated into the Lawrence University music scene and SOL Studios. Originally started as a high school studio project by a student from Hawai'i, the group evolved into a full band during their time in the Midwest. Their sound is a eclectic blend of jazz-rock, psychedelic jam sessions, and R&B, influenced by both their Hawaiian roots and the architecture and seasons of Wisconsin. Core members include multi-instrumentalist Isaac Corby and Avery Jessee, with contributions from local musicians like Josué Ríos López and Quintin Fernandez. Known for their high-energy live shows and improvisational spirit, they have become a fixture in the Fox Valley and Twin Cities DIY circuits. Notable releases include the 'The Lucky Direction' LP and the 'Live At SOL House' album.
