Little Feat
About
Little Feat is an American rock band formed in 1969 in Los Angeles by singer-songwriter Lowell George and keyboardist Bill Payne. The group is celebrated for its eclectic fusion of rock and roll, blues, R&B, country, and jazz fusion, often described as 'funky Southern boogie.' After achieving critical and commercial success with albums like 'Dixie Chicken' and the live classic 'Waiting for Columbus,' the band disbanded following George's death in 1979. They reformed in 1987 and have remained a consistent force in American music. The current lineup includes founding member Bill Payne alongside longtime members and newer additions like Milwaukee-native guitarist Scott Sharrard.
