Keep for Cheap is a Minneapolis-based five-piece band that characterizes their sound as "prairie-rock," a unique blend of indie, country, rock, and pop. The group formed at Hamline University and is led by fronting members Kate Malanaphy and Autumn Vagle, whose songwriting often explores themes of queer love, passing youth, and the natural landscapes of the Midwest. Known for their driving instrumentals and poignant lyrics, the band has released two albums, "Bundle" and "Big Grass," and maintains a strong presence in the Twin Cities music scene.
