Jedidiah
About
Jedidiah (also known as Jedidiah the Messiah) is the performance alias of Patrick Spencer, a foundational figure in the Milwaukee electronic and rave community. Co-founder of the legendary Drop Bass Network (DBN) in 1992 alongside Kurt Eckes, Spencer was a key architect of the 'Midwest Hardcorps' sound, which blended high-tempo techno, acid, and industrial influences. He played a central role in organizing the seminal Furthur festivals in the 1990s, events that were instrumental in bringing global electronic icons like Daft Punk and Aphex Twin to the United States for the first time. Spencer remains an active veteran of the Wisconsin underground, frequently contributing DJ sets and live mixes to the No Coast Muzik collective and performing at boutique techno events throughout the region.
