Freddy Jones Band

About

The Freddy Jones Band is a premier American roots rock act formed in Chicago in 1990 by Marty Lloyd and Wayne Healy. Despite the name, no member is named Freddy Jones; the moniker was inspired by a comic strip character. The band rose to national fame in the mid-90s with their hit 'In A Daydream,' which reached #1 on AAA radio. Known for their sophisticated musicianship and vocal harmonies, they became a staple of the H.O.R.D.E. Festival era. After a hiatus starting in 2000, the group reunited in 2005 and remains active, frequently performing at major Midwest venues like Milwaukee's Summerfest. In 2026, they continued their legacy with the release of the single 'No Money in Vegas.'
