Fleshcrawl
About
Fleshcrawl is a German death metal band formed in Illertissen, Bavaria, in 1987 [Fleshcrawl - Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fleshcrawl). Founded by Stefan Hanus and Bastian Herzog, the band originally operated under the names Morgöth and Suffocation before officially adopting the name Fleshcrawl in 1991 to avoid confusion with the American band of the same name [Fleshcrawl - Encyclopaedia Metallum](https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Fleshcrawl/847). They are recognized for their Swedish-influenced death metal style, debuting with 'Descend Into the Absurd' in 1992 [Fleshcrawl — Biography, Discography, Albums & Expert ... - AllMusic](https://www.allmusic.com/artist/fleshcrawl-mn0000184088). The band has remained active through various lineup changes, releasing their most recent album 'Into the Catacombs of Flesh' in 2019 [Fleshcrawl - Apostasy Records](https://apostasyrecords.net/artists/fleshcrawl).
