About
Finom is a Chicago-based duo consisting of Sima Cunningham and Macie Stewart, formed in 2014. Originally performing under the names Homme and later OHMME, the pair emerged from Chicago's experimental and improvisational music scenes, centered around venues like Constellation. Their sound is defined by a combination of lush, intricate vocal harmonies and jagged, avant-garde guitar work. They have released several acclaimed albums, including 'Parts' (2018), 'Fantasize Your Ghost' (2020), and 'Not God' (2024), the latter of which was produced by Jeff Tweedy at the Wilco Loft. The duo is a fixture in the Midwest music community, frequently collaborating with artists like Chance the Rapper and performing in regional hubs including Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
