Essenger

About

Essenger is the creative project of multi-genre producer and vocalist Jeffrey Blake Simpson. Based in Kansas City, Missouri, Essenger has become a prominent figure in the synthwave and electronic scenes by blending elements of cyberpunk, darksynth, and modern alternative rock. After gaining significant attention with early independent singles like 'Quivira,' he signed with the independent label FiXT Neon (now FiXT) in 2019. His debut full-length album, 'After Dark' (2020), further established his signature sound characterized by cinematic production and emotive vocal hooks. He has collaborated with major names in the electronic music industry, including Dabin and Scandroid, and has released music through notable labels such as Monstercat and Seeking Blue.
