Erik's Iridescent Tent

About

Erik's Iridescent Tent is a psychedelic rock quartet hailing from the Twin Cities, Minnesota. The project was formed by members of several local psychedelic acts, including Black Satori, Narco States, kazaizen, and Bilbong Baggins. Their sound is a heavy, acid-damaged concoction of vintage 60s and 70s garage, space rock, and progressive rock, prominently featuring Farfisa organ and fuzzy guitars. The band made their debut in 2022 with the single 'The Tent' and the conceptually-titled full-length album 'Peter Piper Pepperidge Farm at The Gates of Dawn Detergent.' Known for their whimsical yet heavy 'interdimensional' aesthetics, they have become a staple of the Upper Midwest underground psych scene.
