Eddie 9V (born Brooks Mason) is an Atlanta-based soul and blues musician recognized for his authentic, 'old-soul' sound and commitment to a raw, live-recorded aesthetic. Starting his career in the Atlanta blues scene at age 15, he adopted the Eddie 9V moniker in 2019 with his debut album 'Left My Soul in Memphis.' He gained significant national acclaim with 'Little Black Flies' (2021) and 'Capricorn' (2023), the latter of which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues chart. Known for his witty songwriting and fiery Freddie King-style guitar work, he is currently signed to Dan Auerbach's Easy Eye Sound label.
