About
Dystopia was an American sludge metal and crust punk band formed in Orange County, California, in 1991. Active until 2008, they were known for their bleak, misanthropic imagery and lyrics addressing social and political issues such as environmentalism, racial equality, substance abuse, and animal rights. The band's lineup included Todd Kiessling on bass, Matt 'Mauz' Parrillo on guitar and vocals, and Anthony 'Dino' Sommese on drums and vocals.
