DJ Minx, born Jennifer Witcher, is a pioneering Detroit-based DJ, producer, and label head often referred to as the 'First Lady of Wax.' Inspired by the city's legendary Music Institute in 1989, she became a fixture in the underground scene. She founded the Women on Wax collective and record label, and gained international acclaim for her 2003 minimal house track 'A Walk in the Park.' She is a celebrated figure in dance music history, recognized for her contributions to the Detroit techno and house communities.
