About
Deadlands is a New York-based metalcore band known for infusing fresh energy into traditional post-hardcore music. Founded by frontwoman Kasey Karlsen, who has been writing about personal experiences since high school, the band released their 7-song EP, SEVEN., in June 2025, with each track representing one of the seven deadly sins. They have performed at major festivals such as Louder Than Life, Aftershock, and Blue Ridge Festivals, and are currently working on a full-length album with the first single scheduled for release in April 2026.
