Dak

About

Dak (also known as DAK or Descartes a Kant) is a critically acclaimed avant-garde theatrical rock band. Originally formed in Guadalajara, Mexico in 2001, the group has become a staple of the international underground music scene, known for their visually explosive and high-concept live performances that blend elements of punk, cabaret, metal, and shoegaze. Their 2023 album 'After Destruction' centered around a fictional character and repair service called 'The Dak,' leading to the band frequently being billed and referred to by the acronym DAK. In the context of their 2026 North American tour with Christian Death and Gene Loves Jezebel, they have been listed on local Milwaukee show bills as being based in Miami.
