About
Crowned In Sorrow is a one-man atmospheric melodic doom and death metal project founded in 2019 by Derek Corzine, a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and veteran of the Christian metal scene (known for his work in Burial Extraction, Blood Thirsty, and Whisper from Heaven). The project is characterized by its blend of crushing doom riffs, melodic leads, and themes of faith, grief, and mourning. Its primary release, the 2021 full-length album 'In Memoriam,' features guest appearances from artists such as Luke Renno and Courtney Johnson and has been recognized for its pristine production and spiritual depth.
